Tower Boxing 1.0.4

Suggestive themes

The 9/11 date has come and gone again. So it is time to start asking the question, was this "new Pearl Harbor" a Muslim terror attack? I mean, really? The more interesting question would be "Who did it?". However, we will switch the focus on how they did it. Being that a jet plane cannot possibly obliterate full skyscraper, rendering it to dust, Tower Boxing shows us an alternative hypothesis.

Tower Boxing

Now that I have happily satisfied my need to bash this idiotic idea that good old 'merica was attacked by evil fundamentalists who hide in caves and get kinky with goats, you will see that the truth has been completely twisted to hide the real culprits. In Tower Boxing the only thing you need to do is to hit the skyscraper and dodge the falling platforms, or they will hit your head and knock you out.

The heavily pixelated graphics serve two purposes, the first being that they're simply stylish. Creating a simple 20 pixel character and having critics rave about how artsy and stylish it looks, is too good an opportunity to pass out. The second reason I suspect is the need to shield your eyes from evocative scenes that you've been indoctrinated with for fifteen years. Lest your PTSD kicks in and makes you write an offended review on the Play Store.

Going back to gameplay however... Swinging from left to right, you will want to collect coins so as to keep your energy levels and continue bringing that building down. Coins can then be spent to unlock other terrorists, such as Godzilla, a kangaroo, Gandalf the Grey, a zombie and even Tiger Woods. Nevertheless, they all work the same, that is they smash one section at a time and require multiple blows before cracking specific sections. Which by the way may unlock bonus characters. That's how I got my Godzilla.

The interesting thing is that even though the building is falling, it feels like you are climbing it. I don't know if this effect is intentional or not, but it's pretty exciting nonetheless. Tower Boxing has a dumb-easy concept to grasp. The only reason I'm giving it this treatment is because I'm supposed to. Now go play it, then throw out your TV set, get on the net and start researching about who controls your money supply.
